Dear God:

When life goes on, with no end

When time passes like a wink

When love seems far away

You're there by my side

No matter what I do in life

No matter how far I achieve

No matter who I become

You're there by my side

Dear God:

Why is life so complicated?

Why do people enjoy the pain?

Why does everything seem so gloomy?

The good thing is: you're there by my side

Dear God:

I try and try to find the way

But the roads are too dark for me

The only thing that keeps me going

Is the faith that: You're there by my side

Dear God:

I often wonder where I’ll end up

I often wonder how my life will unfold

I often wonder where you are

But I know: you’re there by my side

Dear God:

I count the hours I spend alone

I count the minutes I waste complaining

I count the seconds I spend praying

Nevertheless: you’re there by my side

Dear God:

Not everyone is free to listen

Not everyone has time to help

Not everyone likes to be bothered

Unlike everyone: you’re there by my side

Dear God:

Time on earth passes quickly

Each day is filled with different agony

I try to find time to pray

I try to find time to help people

I try to find time to read your word

But to my dismay time is wasted faster and faster

I try to look for you wherever I go

I search in people around me

I search in situations I pass through

Many obstacles stand my way

Please help me find you

You make my life shine in worst circumstances

You show me your light when I give up on life

You send me gifts when I least expect them

You’re too good to be true

Thanks you God for always being THERE BY MY SIDE!

Life is nothing but a river

It carries you wherever it goes

Some streams are hard to resist

Thus you look at people for support

Life takes things away from you

Age, health, wealth and especially friends

Some friends take forever to find

Others are right at your door

Which ones you choose to hang out with

Will affect you life for good

I chose my friends wisely

They were hard to find

But when I found them

It was worth the ride

They stick by me when in need

They support me when I grieve

They especially are there in joy

Laughter and fun is our common goal

We met by coincidence I kid you not

Each one from a different background

But that’s what makes us unique

Respecting other’s identity is our lead

Each one with their own sense

Put something more to life

It makes it interesting

And quite a delight

I love you all from all my heart

But what puts me to tears

Is that someday we’ll have to part

I wish this day never comes

But if it does I must say

You were the best thing in my life

And I never regret the day

Now, I’m walking my own path

Sometimes I look behind me at our past

I wish I would go back

But something tells me that could never be done

When we meet together I feel rejoice

But it breaks my heart

When I have to say goodbye

I never know when we’ll meet again

And I always hope this is never the end

I must confess and say that sometime I look around me

And just wish in my heart you were there

I totally now believe the saying

“You never understand the real value of someone

Until you loose them for good”

Its not that I did loose you

Its just you’re not around anymore

And even though I wish you the best in life

I really hope you were there in mine
